How to download TikTok Highlights

What are TikTok Highlights?
- Saved Story collections
Highlights are named collections of older Stories that a creator chose to keep on their profile, after the usual 24 hours are over.
- Video and photo Stories
A Highlight can mix video Stories and photo Stories. Both open here, and each is labelled Video or Photo.
- Not the same as current Stories
To see what a creator has up in the last 24 hours, use the TikTok Story Viewer instead.
- No TikTok login
You don't sign in to TikTok, and TikVault never asks for your TikTok password.
Good to know before you look
When no Highlights are found
Highlights are still new on TikTok, and many creators don't use them yet. If you see No public Highlights found right now, it only means none could be found for that profile at the moment. A creator can add or remove Highlights at any time.
Private accounts
Public content only. TikVault has no access to private accounts, and it doesn't try to get around TikTok's privacy settings.
Removed Stories
Only what is still in the Highlight can be shown. If a creator removes a Story from a Highlight, or deletes it, there is nothing left to view or download, and TikVault never shows Stories it saved for other accounts. When a Highlight lists more Stories than can be shown, the count says so.
When a lookup doesn't work
Highlight lookups depend on an outside data service. A lookup can fail when that service or TikTok is slow or busy. Wait a moment and try again.
Want a creator's future Stories too?
Highlights only hold the Stories a creator decided to keep. Their other Stories disappear from TikTok after a day. If you follow someone's Stories closely, choose Monitor on their result.
TikVault then checks that creator's public profile for new Stories in the background and saves the ones it detects to your Story history, so you can watch them later even after they expire on TikTok. The automatic TikTok Story Saver explains how monitoring works.
Checks run on a schedule. A Story is saved some time after it is posted, and one that is posted and removed between two checks can't be detected. How often creators are checked depends on your plan.
Questions about TikTok Highlights
Do I need a TikTok account to view Highlights?
No. Enter the creator's username above. You don't need a TikTok account or a TikVault account to see their public profile Highlights.
Will the creator see that I viewed their Highlight?
TikVault looks Highlights up from its own servers, not from your TikTok account, and you never sign in to TikTok here. What TikTok itself records or shows to creators is outside TikVault's control, so we don't promise that a view is invisible.
Can I download a whole Highlight at once?
Not yet. Open the Highlight and download its Stories one at a time with the download button on each Story.
Why does a creator show no Highlights?
Highlights are a newer TikTok profile feature and many creators haven't set any up. A private account's Highlights can't be shown either. You can still view their current Stories if they have any up.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in your phone's or computer's browser, with nothing to install. On a phone, the download button offers to save the Story to your photos.
